Deer Mineral Site

Items needed for mineral site

White mixin salt, 50 lbs.

Ragland 12% Hy-Phos mineral salt, 50 lbs.

FRM Cattle Mineral, 50 lbs.

Trace mineral block, 50 lbs.

Whole Corn, 50 lbs.

Gallon of Molasses

Rock salt, 5 lbs

White sugar , 5lbs.

5 gallons of water

Instructions, how to prepare Mineral Site

Clear an area 5'x5'

Dig in the center a 10" hole

Rough up soil with rake

Place mineral block in center and break with hammer

Pour white salt, 25 lbs over entire site

Pour Ragland 12% Hy-Phos over white salt

Work salt and Hy-Phos into soil with rake

Pour 3 gallons of water on the site

Pour all the FRM cattle mineral, all the rock salt, and sugar on the site and mix with rake.

Pour rest of white salt on site

Pour molasses over entire site

Pour 2 gallons of water over the site

Spread the whole corn all around the site in order to get the deer using the mineral site.
